Bí kíp giúp bạn lấy lại năng suất làm việc sau Tết

Out of Tet means having to work again. But, alas, playing a few days familiar with my habit of pampering myself and now sitting down at my desk would be impossible.

According to Charles Duhigg, author of the bestselling book The Power of Habits, every habit begins with a psychological model called the loop of habit of Muslims. Repeating habits has three stages:

Activation - acts as a trigger button to bring the brain into an automatic state and choose the habit to use.
Action - is a suggestion based behavior that brings satisfaction.
The reward - is a pleasant result after doing the behavior and making your brain want to repeat it in the future.
As soon as a behavior becomes automatic, the brain's decision-making part changes to sleep mode and the auto-brain mode helps to resolve the situation. The bad news is that if you are too busy playing during the holiday season and do not pay a little attention to your work, chances are you have lost your habit of working effectively.

But do not worry, you can completely restore the performance as before, if only you work hard to apply the following:

1. Break the habit of hesitation

The first step to regaining productivity is to acknowledge your problem. Being bored, having no energy or sleeping habits needs to be acknowledged and looking for ways to improve instead of hesitating for a few more days. The Vietnamese folk have a saying: "January is the month of playing, February gathering, March of summer festival", unconsciously forming an excuse to excuse the "laziness" of many people.

When you realize that you are struggling with procrastination, you can take steps to clear your mind, make a list of what to do during the day to get the job running more smoothly.

2. Rearrange your workspace

Your productivity depends largely on your attitude and mood. To get rid of the habit of feeling tired and not concentrating on work, change your surroundings. If you can't throw away old documents, put them in a drawer instead of piling them on a table. Set up a system of documents in groups and label them so they can be easily found when needed. Most importantly, clean the desk, remove all unnecessary sticky notes, empty coffee cups and business cards.

Your environment must motivate you. Surrounding you should be motivational images for you, but also need to be clean and tidy. The truth is that clutter will affect your thinking and stagnate your thinking ability.

3. Create new personal etiquette

Research has shown that rituals increase people's confidence in their abilities, support higher efforts and improve performance. Some people do not think that rituals really exist even though it still happens daily, repeated in their lives. For example, someone has to walk right out of the house, drink three sips of water before a meal or brush their teeth 7 times a day ... Some silly rituals are somewhat stupid and there are also some rituals Interesting proved effective, you should consult:

Coffee - just drink coffee at specific times when dealing with a demanding job. Your brain will associate drinking coffee with challenging, highly focused tasks, helping you to establish the right mood.
Time - Do specific tasks during certain times of the day. Monday afternoon time for meetings and evenings to answer emails. The work in a clear sequence helps you avoid having the same schedule, overlapping the schedule.
Location - Create a connection between specific locations. For example, never eat at your office desk, keep this area dedicated to work and work only.
If you already have some previous work etiquette that still doesn't work, consider replacing them with new rituals.

4. Focus on benefits

If you think that the person who gets the most from your job is the company owner, then you are wrong. The person who gets the maximum benefit from your daily work should be you. Every time you face a challenging task, remind yourself of your learning potential. The more difficult the task is, the more skills you can master.

Possible profits you can get from your job: New know-how and your ability to improve, satisfaction when completing tasks, new career opportunities and compliments from your team.

The more you focus on positive results, the higher your motivation.

5. Walk 15 minutes a day

Practicing small exercises like walking for 15 minutes a day will bring unexpected benefits you can't expect. First, help your body release a fairly large amount of calories accumulated during Tet. Next, the steps will help you stay awake answering "why" questions, think about big goals, as well as focus on non-urgent but especially important questions.

The cause of mental fatigue is not the exhaustion of the brain region that controls the ability to concentrate, but because the brain area helps prevent distractions that are too tired. Many studies show that walking, especially in places close to nature, will help restore the brain's ability to block distractions because then our minds are relaxed and productive. work will naturally increase again.

6. Start the day by solving the most difficult task

Jason Duff, founder and CEO of COMSTOR Outdoor, says that in contrast to familiar time management methods, he often spends the first hour of the day dealing with the most energy-intensive tasks, not must be the most important task.

He did so every morning because it was the time when willpower was at the highest level. For each task, he will have to choose, either authorize others, abolish, or do it himself. After that, he continued with the most important tasks of the day. If you leave the "hardest" task to the end, you probably won't have much energy left to solve them. Choose to confront the big rock first to have more motivation to fight the small rocks behind.

7. Always keep yourself busy

One of the causes of post-holiday depression is not much workload.

The monotony, slow make you feel sick every morning to work. So keep yourself busy by doing different jobs. Because when you have a lot of work to deal with, you won't have time to get bored, but try to concentrate on finding the fastest ways to handle each problem.
