Những người mẹ vĩ đại trong lịch sử

It can be said that mother is considered the first person in every human life. And more specifically, the success of the great men in human history is always associated with the image of the mother, who created a great influence in the way of success of these characters. Please also look back at the great examples of great mothers.
1. Scientist Thomas Alva Edison's heroic mother
No one was born to be a genius.

Indeed, the teenage life of world geniuses seems to be in stark contrast to the achievements they have achieved in the future. So you have nothing to worry about when people think that your child is a slow, badly educated child. But you must be shocked when a certain teacher talks about your child like a "stupid" child, which is the childhood of Thomas Edison, the scientist of the invention.

Many years later, when his mother died and Edison became one of the greatest inventors of the century, he watched the old things in his family. Suddenly, he found the folded paper in the corner of the desk drawer. He opened it and saw the words written on it: "Your son is an idiot. We will not let him go to school anymore." Edison was really surprised and recalled the elementary days, because of studying. nowhere, so the teacher of Edison's boy wrote a letter to his mother. However, upon receiving the letter, the mother's eyes blushed and read every word aloud to Edison: "Your son is a genius. This school is too small and no teacher is good enough to train him. Please let him teach himself ".

In childhood, Edison was famous as a curious boy. Edison was late for school because he was ill. His mind was always distracted and his teacher Reverend Engle called him "confused". While his companions were still playful, Edison not only wondered about everything around him but also wanted to understand them thoroughly. Because of his mischief, Edison was expelled from school as soon as he attended school for three months.

Indeed, the lovely lies of the mother's immense heart were anticipated by the great Edison's future. Throughout his life, Edison had been studying on his own without going to school. And perhaps the strong faith and encouragement of the mother made a turning point in Edison's life. So, you must always believe that children are the perfect, wonderful children God has given, the future of children depends on your attitude.

Later recalled, Edison was thrilled to say: "My mother created me. She was very confident and certain about me; and I feel that I have something to live on, someone so I can't disappoint. ”

When he shared his learning experience, he said: "I remember that I never progressed at school. I always wore books, felt the teachers did not have feelings for me, and my father thought I was really stupid".

However, according to this biography, when Edison told his mother about the teacher calling him a fool, the two went to school to seek an apology. "My son doesn't go back, I believe it," Mrs. Edison said. Despite his mother's efforts, the Reverend couple did not change their minds about students. Finally, Mrs. Edison realized what she should do. "Okay, I'll teach it at home," she announced.

Edison is considered one of the most inventive inventors in history, he holds 1,093 patents in the United States under his name, as well as patents in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany (totaling 1,500 in total). worldwide invention). According to statistics, Edison had a total of 1,907 patented inventions - a huge number.

Not studying at school, Edison studied on his own books. Gradually, with the thought, explore, perform not pay attention to the empty theory, each step Edison conquered what the people at the time thought was impossible.

However, Edison considered all he had achieved as a result of respectable people, he wrote in his diary the following lines: "Thomas Alva Edison is a stupid child, thanks to his heroic mother to become genius of the century ".

2. Genius Albert Einstein was created by the love of the mother
Together with Edison, he was an underdeveloped child in his childhood. While the other 3-year-olds were playing happily, the little Einstein almost showed no emotion, he could not even speak. Even when Einstein's sister was born and could talk to her parents, he still stuttered only a few discrete words of unknown meaning. So that when he was 4 years old, his parents had to take him to see a doctor. And Einstein had a disability before saying all that in his mouth, so much so that people called him "Idiot."

In such a situation, the young Albert Einstein became more and more afraid of going to school. The school became a place of obsession in Einstein's memories, he often became a laughingstock for them, the teachers did not feel sympathetic to the slow boy and often asked meaningless questions.

Fortunately, like Edison, the boy Einstein had a wonderful mother, Pauline Einstein (née Koch) had to play two roles: both mother and teacher of Einstein. Being a quiet person, having a strong cultural background, she is the one who guides and helps her son to become familiar with the early knowledge, which is a solid foundation for his outstanding knowledge later. Mrs. Koch constantly encourages and gives up her work to help her learn about human knowledge: Mathematics, physics, philosophy and art. With the support of her mother, Einstein overcomes fear to continue keep going to school. All of Koch's efforts were not wasted when Einstein passed through one class after another to enter the final year of high school.

However, in the last year of high school Eistein was expelled for giving strange questions such as: Why is the magnet needle pointing south? What is time? What is space? ... Everyone thinks that this boy is a problematic mind. His academic achievement is always at the bottom of the class. The principal of Einstein's school attended and assured his father that "this boy will not do anything in the future."

After being expelled from school, Einstein and his family went to Milan to continue their studies. In 1896 Einstein attended high school at the Aarau school. In 1905, Einstein published a paper on "fundamental theory of relativity", from which Einstein's name became increasingly popular in the scientific world.

Previous classmates and teachers who considered him an "idiot", considered him to be a pervert, and his detractors, "will not do anything", now all eyes are surprised at his talents. , the father's talent in modern physics and inventions that change the history of world science.

3. Welded mother of General Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States of America from March 1861 until he was assassinated in April 1865, and he succeeded in leading the country to overcome the constitutional and military crisis. and morality - the American Civil War - maintaining the federal government, at the same time ending slavery, and modernizing the country's economy and finance.

He is famous for his noble qualities such as honesty, kindness, human love and unparalleled patience, outstanding leadership and eloquence ... even though he has a poor background. Lincoln's name almost always tops the list of America's greatest presidents over time.

Nancy Hanks Lincoln is the mother who instilled in him the virtue of honesty and compassion. She sowed into her son the seeds of curiosity. Although she was not a full-time educator, Nancy etched the importance of learning and reading for her son when their family moved to the border between Kentucky and Indiana. However, she died prematurely from drinking poisoned milk when Lincoln was 9 years old.

But God gave Lincoln a mother. The mother's name is Sarah Bush Lincoln, she is Lincoln's stepmother. Not with Lincoln, Mrs. Sarah for Lincoln is no different from her mother. He once said: "What I have today or forever, all thanks to my angel mother." And "she is my best friend in this world and no son can love a mother more than I love her." Those are Lincoln's rare words because they are inherently different from politicians today who always see details of their childhood as an opportunity to enhance their image, Lincoln rarely speaks of himself.

She was only a low-school woman, the mother of three children before re-pricing with President Lincoln's widowed father Thomas Lincoln. When following Mr. Thomas Lincoln to the remote Indiana area, this woman's modest fortune also has books such as "Aesop Fables" and "Pilgrimage" (The Pilgrim's Progress of Bunyan), "Robinson Crusoe", "Sailor Sinbad". Although illiterate, Sarah continued her mother's job Nancy in cultivating Lincoln's knowledge and wisdom through reading.

She provided books for him to read. "Sarah has an appreciation of the value of education," Oppenheimer said. "She soon realized something special about this boy and protected his right to pursue his intellectual developments." Under her guidance and protection, Lincoln made rapid progress. "He reads every book he has in his hand," she recalls, "and soon ready to practice writing and speaking, he also yearns to understand the exact meaning of a word."

After listening to the local missionary sermon, he sometimes stood on a tree, gathered the children around him and "repeated almost every word". Thus, stepmother and son-in-law quickly established a loving bond. "His mind and mine, although I have few, go in the same direction," said Sarah. She treated Abe as if Abe was her own blood. In response to that love, Abraham Lincoln always called her "angel mother".

She knew how to look at the different talents, though strange to her husband's surroundings, and she created all the conditions for Lincoln to develop that talent. She knew to see Lincoln's good moral qualities while others only saw his "eccentric" appearance and lifestyle.
