1. January: Moon wolf (Wolf Moon)

5. May: Flower moon (Flower Moon)

In June, North America fell into strawberry picking season, so it was called strawberry moon beside other names such as Rose Moon, Hot Moon or Straw Moon - all related to the seasons.
7. July: Thunder moon (Thunder Moon)
After the cool days of spring, summer rains came, bringing thunder around a large area. Dense thunder tore away the peaceful scenery before. American Indians called the full moon in July as Thunder Moon.
8. August: Moon sturgeon (Sturgeon Moon)
Usually, North American tribes are entering the peak season of sturgeon fishing in August, the number of fish appears in their area. So the sturgeon fishing has given birth to the name Moon sturgeon.
However, this is also the wheat or corn harvest season, so it is also called the Grain Moon.
9. September: Moon harvest (Harvest Moon)
The moon in September was so bright that farmers in this area could harvest the crop in the night. The harvest is in the harvest season, farmers are hustling to harvest to catch the next crop before the fall comes. 10. October: Moon hunter (Hunter's Moon)

At the same time, after a farmer's crop, the animals must have saturated, and October is suitable for hunting. The name moon hunter appeared from there.
11. November: Frosty moon (Frost Moon)
And winter begins to come on the vast grasslands and mountains. The cold and misty snow surrounded the place, the four white surfaces of the heavy snow and the long stretches. Based on this point, the people spread the name Moon frost.
In addition, this month's moon is also called the Beaver Moon (Beaver Moon) due to the occurrence of this species.
12. December: Cold Moon (Cold Moon)
At this time, the night begins to be long and darker, the winter is much stronger and peaks. The cold which has been available since November, is even colder. Therefore, the name of the cold moon never appeared.
Some other names refer to the December moon which is Noel's moon (Moon before Yule) or Long Nights Moon.
